Man litter

Manure is a plant whose root and parts that grow above the ground are used to make medicine.

Manure preparations made from the parts of the plant that grow above ground are used to treat infections of the urinary tract, prostate problems and swollen airways. Manure preparations made from the root of the plant are used for various conditions of the urinary tract including kidney and bladder stones, kidney pain and swelling, and difficulty urinating. Other uses of manstraw root include the treatment of coughs, skin conditions and bronchitis, as well as other respiratory problems.

How does manure work?

The parts of manure growing above the ground may increase urine production. Manure root may reduce spasms and help relieve respiratory congestion by thinning mucus and facilitating expectoration.

How effective is manstraw?

There is not enough scientific data to assess the effectiveness of manure for urinary tract infections, prostate problems, coughs, bronchitis, kidney and bladder stones, kidney pain and swelling, water retention, difficulty urinating and skin problems. Further scientific research is needed to evaluate the effectiveness of manure for these conditions.

Safety and side effects

There is not enough information to say whether creeping mange is safe and harmless or what side effects mange may have.

Precautions and warnings

Pregnancy and lactation: Not enough is known about the use of manure during pregnancy and lactation. For this reason, pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid manure. Allergies to celery, fennel, dill and related plants: Mannstraw can cause allergic reactions in people who are allergic to plants in the Apiaceae family. Members of this plant family include celery, fennel, dill and many others. If you suffer from allergies, you should consult your doctor before taking Mannstreu.

Interactions

Care should be taken when combining Mannstreu with the following medications:

Lithium

Mannstreu may have a dehydrating (diuretic) effect. Taking Mannstreu may interfere with the body's excretion of lithium, which could result in increased lithium levels and serious side effects. For this reason, it is important to consult your doctor before using Mannstreu if you are taking lithium. The lithium dosage may need to be adjusted.

Dosage

An appropriate dosage of Mannstreu depends on various factors such as age, state of health and others. At the present time, there is insufficient scientific data to be able to make a statement about appropriate dosage ranges for Mannstreu. For this reason, you should follow the dosage instructions on the label and/or consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
