Humanofort

What is Humanofort?

Humanofort™ is a patent-pending Romanian supplement designed to help with a variety of medical and clinical problems. It is also said to increase testosterone levels, lower cortisol levels and normalize insulin levels. Although this supplement was patented in the late 1990s, there are currently only a handful of supplement manufacturers authorized to sell Humanofort™.

Where does Humanofort come from?

As already mentioned, Humanofort is a nutritional supplement that was originally produced in Romania. According to the original patent specification, it is based on a purified extract from fertilized chicken eggs. The final product is said to contain two oligopeptides called embryonic peptides. It should be noted that this supplement does not contain any synthetic or animal-based hormones.

Benefits of Humanofort?

Humanofort is said to have a whole range of benefits. A frequently cited study on the supplement website states that 600mg of Humanofort per day was able to increase levels of free testosterone, androstenedione and dehydroepiandrosterone (all anabolic hormones) by over 100%, while reducing oxidative stress from free radicals by 30%. However, this study cannot be found in any reputable scientific journal. Similarly, the claim that egg yolk from fertilized eggs increases follistatin levels - a protein that is said to inhibit myostatin (a protein that prevents excessive muscle growth) - has not been confirmed in any relevant scientific journal.

The only published study on the effects of Humanofort in humans found that 6 days of supplementation resulted in a reduction in insulin and cortisol levels and an improvement in blood lipid levels. High insulin levels can progressively lead to the development of diabetes, while elevated cortisol levels (the so-called stress hormone) can lead to increased fat storage and elevated blood glucose levels. High cholesterol levels, as we all know, can promote the development of cardiovascular disease. Therefore, any improvement in insulin, cortisol and blood lipid levels can reduce the risk of future health problems.

Benefits of Humanofort for bodybuilders

High-intensity training, the use of stimulants such as caffeine and calorie restriction, all potential aspects of bodybuilding or training for any other sport, can increase cortisol levels which, if left unchecked, can result in the negative effects mentioned above. Since the use of Humanofort can lower cortisol levels, this can help promote better body composition and more normal blood sugar levels. During mass gaining phases, high fat intake can negatively affect blood lipid and cholesterol levels and Humanofort can also provide support here.

Disadvantages and side effects

In the study mentioned above, supplementation with Humanofort over a period of 60 days did not result in any negative side effects. However, the subjects experienced a reduction in IGF-1 (Insulin Like Growth Factor 1), a potent anabolic hormone which, at extremely low levels, increases the risk of developing neurodegenerative diseases, cardiovascular disease and heart disease, as well as a shorter lifespan. However, the IGF-1 levels of the test subjects were still within the normal range even after 60 days of supplementation.

Recommended intake

There are currently no definitive dosage recommendations for Humanofort. However, it appears that between 600 and 2000mg Humanofort per day is necessary to achieve the beneficial effects described. The timing of intake varies, but it is considered ideal to take 2 to 3 equal doses throughout the day in the morning, evening and/or at lunchtime.

Humanofort Supplements

Humanofort is currently available in capsule form as a mono-preparation. The corresponding products are often referred to as "embryonic growth factor extracts", although the quantity of growth factors contained or whether growth factors are contained at all is not known. In the study mentioned above, it was stated that the embryonic peptides (the primary peptides in Humanofort) may act similarly to IGF (Insulin like Growth Factor) EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor), FGF (Fibroblast Growth Factor) and NGF (Nerve Growth Factor).

Combination with other supplements

Due to the possible reduction of IGF-1 levels during the use of Humanofort, this product could be combined with supplements that stimulate growth hormone secretion. Humanofort could also be combined with a testosterone booster as well as arginine and citrulline based products.
