GKG

GKG is an effective cell volumizer that will make you more defined and muscular. Glutamine is the most abundant free amino acid in the muscles. GKG combines glutamine precursors, alpha-ketoglutarate (AKG) and taurine. Taurine is the second most abundant amino acid in muscle tissue. An excellent combination!

What is GKG?

GKG is a nutritional supplement designed specifically for athletes who train with weights. It can help muscle cells maintain maximum volume by protecting the amino acids present in the highest concentration. Numerous clinical studies have shown the importance of these amino acids and their role in muscle growth, protein synthesis and anti-proteolysis (prevention of protein catabolism).

How does GKG work?

The amino acids in GKG help support cell volumization and amino acid transport. Scientific studies suggest that increasing muscle volume may help improve the efficiency of protein synthesis and limit proteolysis (muscle breakdown). When tissue concentrations of glutamine and taurine decrease, protein synthesis may be impaired and proteolysis increased. This is exactly the opposite of what weight training athletes want. Your goal is to maximize protein synthesis to build new muscle tissue and reduce proteolysis - the breakdown of muscle tissue.

How does cell volumization differ from water retention?

Swelling inside the muscle cells is completely different from water retention (edema), which is swelling outside the muscle cells. Cell volumization can indeed make muscle cells larger and stronger and also make them appear fuller and harder. Water retention, on the other hand, can make muscles look flatter and less defined.

How is GKG used?

GKG was developed as a post-workout supplement to be taken after training to replenish key amino acid reserves after an intense training session. The best way to use GKG is to take six capsules within 30 minutes of training on an empty stomach. On training days, you should also take six more capsules before going to bed with a carbohydrate drink or a meal containing carbohydrates. On non-training days, the recommended intake is 12 capsules before going to bed.

Is GKG safe?

All the nutrients in GKG occur naturally in different food sources. GKG does not contain any pharmaceutical ingredients or artificial ingredients and there are no known problems associated with taking it.

How long does it take to see results from taking GKG?

Just as users vary, so do the results, but some athletes notice an increase in strength and muscle size (due to cell volumization) within a week of starting GKG. However, it may be necessary to give the product a four-week intake phase in order to feel its full effect.

Which supplement is best to combine with GKG?

Any type of other cell volumizer such as creatine could be an excellent complement to GKG. HMB could also be a good choice to help maintain even more muscle tissue.

What are the benefits of taking GKG in cycles?

None at all. GKG is non-toxic and there are no known benefits to discontinuing this product.
