Ba Ji Tian
Ba Ji Tian is a plant that is also known by the scientific name Morinda officinalis and whose root is used to make medicine. There are also Ba Ji Tian products on the market that are made from a related plant with the scientific name Morinda citrifolia. Ba Ji Tian is used to improve kidney function and for various urination-related problems such as excess urine production and bedwetting. Ba Ji Tian is also used to treat cancer, gallbladder disorders, hernia and back pain. Other uses include improving the function of the immune system and strengthening the endocrine system, which is responsible for regulating hormone secretion in the body. Ba Ji Tian is also used for erectile dysfunction and other problems with sexual performance.
How does Ba Ji Tian work?
Ba JiTian may be helpful in the treatment of depression by increasing the effects of serotonin.
How effective is Ba Ji Tian?
There is not enough scientific data to evaluate the effectiveness of Ba Ji Tian in the treatment of cancer, gallbladder disorders, bedwetting, erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation, back pain, depression and kidney disease. Further scientific research is needed to evaluate the effectiveness of Ba Ji Tian in these applications.

Ba Ji Tian is probably safe and harmless for most people.
Precautions and warnings
Pregnancy and lactation: Not enough is known about the use of Ba Ji Tian during pregnancy and lactation. For this reason, pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid Ba Ji Tian to be on the safe side.
Pain when urinating: Ba Ji Tian is believed to stimulate kidney function, which can exacerbate pain when urinating. People who suffer from dysuria should therefore use Ba Ji Tian with caution.

There is currently no information on interactions of Ba Ji Tian with medications.

An appropriate dosage of Ba Ji Tian depends on various factors such as age, state of health and others. At the present time, there is insufficient scientific data to be able to make a statement about appropriate dosage ranges for Ba Ji Tian.
