Recipe of the day 3 minute whey protein chocolate cake

This delicious chocolate cake is very quick to prepare and low in calories.

Preparation time: 3 minutes

Servings: 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop of chocolate-flavored whey protein isolate
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ cup Splenda powder or equivalent amount of liquid Splenda
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 egg

Preparation:

  1. Mix the whey protein, cocoa, baking powder and splenda powder in a bowl.
  2. Stir in the butter, water and egg. Mix well with a spoon or fork.
  3. Use a rubber spatula to press the dough evenly down into the bowl.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap in which a ventilation slit has been cut.
  5. Heat the cake in the microwave at maximum heat for 1 minute - or a little longer if the cake is still too moist after 1 minute.
  6. Leave the cake to cool slightly and serve warm with whipped cream or cold from the fridge.
