What is sulforaphane?
By now, even the last person will have realized that fruit and vegetables can have a very positive effect on health and athletic performance. One of the healthiest vegetables is broccoli, which is also very popular with bodybuilders and is rich in sulforaphane - a sulphur-rich compound that has a variety of health benefits.
Unfortunately, sulforaphane is sensitive to heat and is largely destroyed during cooking and steaming. This starts with an antioxidant effect that can protect your muscle cells and the DNA of your cells from damage caused by dangerous free radicals (1, 2).
