What is shilajit?

Shilajit is often described as a tar-like substance that emerges naturally from the sedimentary rock of various mountainous regions (4). Shilajit is the result of the progressive decomposition of various organic compounds deposited in the rock (4,5). The most important constituents of shilajit are fulvic acid, dibenzo-α-pyrones (DBP), DBP chromoproteins (DCP) and humic acid. In addition, shilajit also contains over 40 other trace minerals (5,6). Nowadays, shilajit as a supplement is mainly known from studies for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties (1,2). However, it has been used in traditional medicine for countless years and is used for a wide variety of ailments.

What are the benefits of shilajit?

Studies published on shilajit have shown that it has a strong antioxidant effect in test subjects(1). It had anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects. In addition, researchers also found adaptogenic properties as well as effects on the metabolism and immune system (6,8). Studies attribute positive effects to shilajit on a range of different health parameters. Among other things, there has been talk of an improvement in male fertility and potency due to an increase in testosterone levels (3,7). Other studies have also focused on the integrity of various types of tissue by increasing proteins that are part of the extracellular matrix, such as collagen (10,11). Shilajit has also been linked to tissue perfusion (11) and bone health (1).

Why have we supplemented shilajit with other ingredients?

Vitamin C is an ingredient that most people will be familiar with, it is a crucial micronutrient when it comes to our immune system (12,13). Vitamin C contributes to the normal formation of collagen (14,15), helps to reduce fatigue (16), has an influence on the function of the nervous system and on psychological functions (17). Probably the most interesting active ingredient that we have added to shilajit is ginger root extract. In addition to its effect on the stomach and digestion, ginger is also known to have a positive influence on testosterone production, just like shilajit (18). Shilajit is often only used for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. In traditional medicine, however, it is also clear how effective the active ingredient can be in relation to male potency (3,7). Ginger is in the same vein (18). If we now add vitamin C to the equation, an effective supplement against inflammation and free radicals becomes an effective means of significantly boosting potency as well as the immune system.

What makes Shilajit Pro better than other products?

The majority of Shilajit products on the market are based on a raw material that has not undergone any further processing. As a result, however, not only the intake but also the active ingredient content in the product is often significantly worse than with an extract such as that found in Shilajit Pro. Shilajit Pro impresses with a significantly higher density of active ingredients and is also much more convenient to take thanks to its capsule form.

Another point that clearly sets GN's Shilajit apart from other products on the market is Bioperine®. Why we use Bioperine® should be clear to many by now. The addition of piperine can drastically improve the absorption of other active ingredients (19). As with all other active ingredients, optimal absorption is crucial for the effect. In combination with the comprehensive refinement steps and the increased proportion of active ingredients, the Bioperine® is incredibly potent andensures that GN's Shilajit Pro can be absorbed and used by the body significantly better than that of many other brands

Shilajit Pro impresses with its potency, and not just in the figurative sense. The various ingredients have been associated with a variety of different positive properties in studies. This not only ensures that you can get the most out of yourself in everyday life and training, but also during cardio at home afterwards. Shilajit Pro from GN Laboratories - because in the end only results count.

Noch sehr wenig beweise

Immerhin sind hier viele Studien mit eingearbeitet, bin allerdings kein Freund davon Supplements zum verkauf anzubiten die Studientechnisch bisher nur wenig beleuchtet sind
