Shilajit - Blood of Mountains - Gods Rage

What is shilajit?

Shilajit is a tar-like substance that occurs naturally in the sedimentary rock of various mountains (3). Hence the apt name Blood of the Mountains. Shilajit is formed by the continuous decomposition of organic compounds by various microorganisms (4,5). Shilajit mainly consists of fulvic acid, dibenzo-α-pyrones (DBP), DBP chromoproteins (DCP) and humic acid. In addition to these, however, over 40 other trace minerals are found in shilajit (5). Shilajit is primarily known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties (1,2) and has therefore been used in traditional medicine for many years to treat a wide range of ailments. In Ayurvedic medicine, shilajit is one of the rasayanas. In Ayurvedic medicine, it is therefore believed to increase both vitality and longevity (6).

What are the benefits of shilajit?

Recent findings suggest that shilajit can be used as an antioxidant (1). It has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and adaptogenic properties, but is also associated with metabolic, anti-diabetic and immunomodulatory properties (7,8). Studies have shown positive effects of shilajit on various health parameters. According to the studies, shilajit could support various things, including male fertility by increasing testosterone levels (6,9). It may also support the integrity of various tissues in the body by increasing the production of proteins that are part of the extracellular matrix (e.g. collagen) (10,11). It also affects tissue perfusion (11) and bone health (1).

What makes Gods Rage shilajit so special?

Most shilajit products on the market use a raw material that has not undergone any further processing. Of course, this is much cheaper to produce, but it also makes the intake and the active ingredient content in the product significantly worse. As usual, Gods Rage provides only the best quality and therefore relies on a shilajit extract in capsule form. The active ingredient density is significantly higher and the supplement is much more pleasant to take.

However,Gods Rage would not be Gods Rage if we had not done something to further improve the effect of our shilajit. That is why we have added Bioperine® to our shilajit. Piperine significantly improves the absorption of other active ingredients in the body (12). Together with the processing steps and increased active ingredient content, Bioperine® makes Gods Rage sh ilajit a product that easily outshines many others on the market.

Shilajit has been associated in studies with a veritable cornucopia of different potent properties. No wonder it is also known as the blood of the mountains. All these properties ensure that you can get the best out of yourself in everyday life and training and never have to shy away from a challenge. Shilajit by Gods Rage, so that you are not just the rock in the surf, but the mountain on which storms crash.
