Training is not just about endurance or muscle strength, sport always has a mental component and your athletic performance is linked to focus, concentration and energy. Each of these factors is crucial when it comes to getting the most out of a training session. Focus is the key to concentrating on your goals and giving your full attention to your training. All distractions from training should become secondary and you should be fully energized and focused on your current exercise for each set. Concentration is the next important factor to ensure that you are on task during training and can reach your full potential. By focusing on the execution of the exercises, even if the training weight gets heavier, you can ensure that you perform the movements correctly and thus avoid injury. Without energy, it is admittedly difficult to muster much focus or concentration. Fatigue and performance rarely go hand in hand, but nowadays fatigue is omnipresent in many people's lives, which can also have a negative impact on training performance.

How does Alpha Focus work?

Gods Rage has developed the new Alpha Focus to ensure that your training does not fail due to fatigue, concentration or focus problems. A supplement that uses the proven ingredients caffeine and L-theanine and additionally supports the effect of these two substances with citicoline. Caffeine and L-theanine are active ingredients that are probably familiar to everyone by now, but we will nevertheless take a closer look at the effects of both ingredients at this point.

Caffeine stimulates the central nervous system and can therefore improve focus and concentration. This effect has been demonstrated in various studies carried out on a number of test subjects (1). We have already explained how important focus and concentration are. Caffeine was also able to reduce fatigue and increase the energy levels of the test subjects in one study (2). However, the benefits that caffeine has shown in scientific studies do not end there. Among other things, caffeine increased the breathing rate, which resulted in a better oxygen supply to the test subjects in physical stress situations (3). When it comes to caffeine, however, strength athletes should be particularly interested in the fact that, according to scientific studies, the ability of the muscles to contract under load could be increased by taking caffeine. For the test subjects in the study, this resulted in a clearly measurable increase in strength (4). L-theanine also has an influence on the mental component of performance; similar to caffeine, it increased concentration and focus in scientific studies (5), but it also reduced the stress level of the test subjects and was thus also able to reduce states of tiredness and exhaustion (6). It becomes particularly interesting when the two active ingredients are combined. Studies have shown that the combination of caffeine and L-theanine has a synergistic effect on cognitive function and energy levels. While caffeine increased alertness and vigilance, L-theanine was shown in scientific studies to help reduce the potential negative effects of caffeine, such as anxiety and tremors, and promote relaxation (7). These two ingredients would easily provide significant benefits for focus and concentration, but Gods Rage wouldn't be Gods Rage if we left it at that.

For this reason, the new Alpha Focus active ingredient matrix contains another ingredient in addition to caffeine and L-theanine. Citicoline, also known as CDP-choline, is a chemical compound that acts as a precursor to choline and acetylcholine in the body. One of the main functions of citicoline is to increase choline and acetylcholine production in the brain. Choline and acetylcholine are neurotransmitters that play an important role in the control of memory, attention and concentration. In a study, citicoline was therefore able to help improve these cognitive functions and increase the general brain performance of the test subjects (8). This active ingredient can therefore also help to increase focus and concentration, which can also benefit your performance during training.

Pre-workout tip

Stimboosters are rightly an incredibly popular supplement category, but stimulants should always be used with caution. For this reason, instead of a normal stim booster, it may be a good idea to use a pump booster such as Valhalla N.O. Black and also take an Alpha Focus tablet. This way you can always adapt your pre-workout to your individual situation.

The name says it all: Alpha Focus combines three potent active ingredients that all work in the same direction. With Alpha Focus, Gods Rage provides everything you need to stay focused and efficient during training. At the same time, Alpha Focus works completely without harder stims and therefore does not cause a crash after training. On the contrary, the L-theanine it contains ensures rest and relaxation when the workout is over (7). Alpha Focus by Gods Rage is for anyone who wants to take their training to the next level - **so what are you waiting for?
