The Natja Barnova brand was launched by former Danish bikini fitness champion and online trainer Natja Barnova. This was a reaction to her bad experiences with the training bands for leg, stomach and bottom development (Booty) available on the market at the time, which often slipped or tore and became brittle over time. The company founder's many years of practical training experience as a fitness model were incorporated into the development of the brand's products, resulting in a range of training equipment for women that includes different types of training bands (booty bands), equipment for training for a slim waist such as the Natja Barnova V-Shape Waist Trainer, lifting straps and similar products.

Most of Natja Barnova's products have been developed for training at home without weights and other expensive equipment.
