Whey protein hydrolyzate accelerates tissue healing after training

Wheyprotein Hydrolisat beschleunigt die Heilung des Gewebes nach dem Training

Muscles grow in response to small muscle injuries that occur during high-intensity exercise. Muscle injuries are most severe during exercise that involves eccentric (lengthening) contractions. The post-workout repair process involves protein breakdown and synthesis of new protein and works best when blood amino acid levels are high. Protein hydrolysate supplements ("predigested protein") promote healing and enhance the training effect.
An Australian study showed that whey protein hydrolisate promoted regeneration, which was determined by measuring muscle performance after training. In patients suffering from pressure ulcers, it was shown that hydrolisate from collagen protein accelerated the healing rate by 100 percent. Protein hydrolisate supplements promote tissue healing in trauma induced by eccentric training or disease and may promote recovery in bodybuilders.
