Recipe of the day Piri Piri chicken liver

Ingredients:
- 500 g chicken liver, cut into cubes
- 1 onion, cut into slices
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 clove of garlic, crushed or chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
- 2 cups spinach
- ½ teaspoon piri piri spice
- ½ teaspoon allspice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup white rice
Preparation
- Pour the oil into the pan and heat over a medium heat.
- Add the onions, peppers and garlic to the heated pan and sauté until golden brown.
- Then add the chicken livers and all the spices and fry the livers for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add the spinach and fry briefly.
- Place the rice on the plates and cover the rice with the fried liver and vegetables and garnish with a little parsley
